david_ord I particularly like the French overtones (appropriate given the album name) and the playing and arrangement are both intriguing and attractive.

about

"Maria Preux.. A doll, a belle , and a hollow expression. The young mistress of the widely proclaimed and opulent Preux manor, lives in constant delusion. Beaten, fearful, and alone, Maria desires nothing more than to grasp what little happiness there is left to obtain from both her realities and fantasies alike.

Here lies her tale, told by the melodies left behind from her endless spiral into true bliss."

"Maria" has been an interpretive concept album idea of mine since I first wrote the first notes to the original composition in a dead night much like Maria's, and from that very first measure the story began to unfold in my mind. I just had to express it somehow, way more than a single was for certain. So here it is, my very first full album, an original, frustrating, and enormously fun and chilling piece of work I hope for you all to devour nicely.
